The news about AMD Ryzen is just like through the grapevine and are overwhelming on the internet. Information including its performance, pricing, and naming is almost exposed. Now, some foreign media even exposed the rendered images of thenewly designed CPU cooler. Isn't it a surprise for you? 

　A while ago there was news that said the flagship Ryzen processor doesn't come with a cooler. For the currently exposed Ryzen 7 1800X, 1700X, and 1700 new CPUs, only the 1700 indicates that it comes with a cooler. However, the TDP of Ryzen 7 1700 is only 65W that thus we are not sure which information is a correct one. Anyways, everyone is waiting for the official announcement.

This is because the RTG boss Raja Koduri posted a photo on Twitter and the cooler within it is something that nobody has seen before. In the photo, the color of the cooler's light strip is pink. Considering the fact that AMD's principal color tone is red, this light strip is very likely to be in RGB which allow arbitrary color transformations. The feeling presented by this picture is a bit cooler with some expectation. However, we don't know its thermal performance yet and it will need real tests!

　Air-cooled heat sinks are still the mainstream for CPU coolers. Though the media has been hyping up water-cooled heat sinks recently, it is not yet the right time for water cooling since its price-performance ratio needs to be enhanced.
